Luenell Lets Daughter Back Into Her Home Following A Temporary Ban – She Wasn’t Taking The COVID-19 Pandemic Seriously

This past month, Luenell made it abundantly clear that she was taking her health extremely seriously in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. BET revealed that the comedian actually socially distanced herself from her own daughter after the young woman was failing to take it seriously.

The 61-year-old said she refused to allow her daughter, Da’Nelle Cambell into her home because she wasn’t taking the appropriate precautions. She wrote on her Instagram account in March, “I have to make the best decision for me and my husband,” who already struggles with an illness.

The comedian accused Millenials of believing the baby-boomers were being dramatic and overly cautious on account of ignorance and fear. However, she believes older generations are at considerable risk, which, according to the CDC, they are.

Luenell went on to accuse the same demographic of not taking the proper precautions, and because it’s her life she has to worry about, she had no choice to temporarily ban her daughter from coming over for the time being, or at least until she begins taking the pandemic more seriously.

During a new chat with TMZ, however, Luenell claimed her daughter is back living in the house with her, but she has to abide by strict guidelines. The 61-year-old said in her chat with the outlet that she never actually kicked her out, she just “quarantined her.”

Luenell stated that her daughter has her own place, but she often comes over to hers to hang out. When asked what words of advice she has for other parents who have kids who aren’t listening, she said to make them get “naked at the door.”

The comedian said they have a “mudroom,” so her daughter can take off all her clothes, wash them in the washing machine, wash their hands, and maybe even their face while they’re at it.

During an interview last month with Fox Soul, she said to Claudia Jordan that her daughter was “collateral damage,” and she was doing what she had to keep herself and her husband safe.
